The Strategy Group includes senior representation from statutory agencies and law enforcement partners operating in Northern Ireland.
It provides a forum for information and expertise to be shared in support of the development and enhancement of operational partnerships.
Working together, the Group seeks to reach a collective understanding of the threat of organised crime, including evolving and emerging forms of criminality. The Group allows partners to identify and maximise opportunities for multi-agency collaboration in terms of both the operational and policy responses to address the threat.
The Group oversees the implementation of the Organised Crime Strategy 2021-2024. It also provides strategic direction to a number of thematic Sub Groups which each focus on the response to tackling specific crime types.
